People have commented on how Miata's are sort of scarce in other parts of the country, but quite common in California. Well, I can atest to that, at least the California bit! I'm in Santa Cruz, a beach town (which may have something to do with it), and this morning I followed a red Miata all the way to work down Highway 9, and as we reached the bottom of the "mountain" another red Miata zipped past us going up. Other times when I've been out at lunch for just an hour running errands, I'll see at least two or three Miata's. At my company of about 800 employees, there are at least four other Miata's that I know of: one black (my boss'), another M-edition like mine, a BRG, and a white. I think there's a red but I'm not sure. There's definitely a red at our UK office - hello Jonwe! I think that's a pretty high ratio - 1:200. On top of that, I know another employee who sold his red for a Nissan 300ZX, and two former employees who got their Miata after they left (and one of them sold her too! boo on her!). A little trivia about Miata mania in California (give me time and I'll think of more alliteration), - alice '94 M-edition _________________________________________________________________________ Alice T.
