Ok peeps, The Mazda dealership I bought my baby from want to buy it back so they can sell it again. As we're in a lurving relationship at the moment, its unlikely that they'd separate us, however they sent me the new catalogue. So this is what you get in the UK: (ignoring obvious stuff like tinted windscreen) 1.8i 1.8iS power mirrors n y remote boot open n y elec arial n y alloy wheels n y (some strange 6-spoke skinny things) panel light control n y driver airbag n y leather steering wheel n y power steering n y power windows n y 2 speaker stereo y y (beter quality on SE) digital clock n y stainless scuff plates n y ABS n y No sign of a LSD on either as far as the brochure goes. Colours are Red, BRG, laguna blue, silver, black and white. They don't say that any of the colours are restricted to iS models, but it wouldn't suprise me. Interiour trim is black or leather (grey, or various shades of brown) According to a salesman, who was difficult to get rid of to say the least, especially when I informed him that I already had a desirable baby..... Prices 1.8i list is "about #15,000 UK on the road" - thats $22,500 to you, the 1.8iS list is "about #18,000 UK on the road" - thats $27,000 to you. I do wish you guys would stop griping about US prices ! - Jonathan =========================================================== Anyone packing they're 1994 M-Edition away for the winter is more than welcome to lease it to me for a few months! Has to be the greatest car ever made, but ouch, $20k? I'm thinking of buying an older used miata.. I've seen them for around $6000 (with about 65,000 miles on them, circa 1990). Aside from typical used-car worries, are there any miata-specific things I should watch out for from miata's of this year and/or mileage? How does miata's hold up in the 100,000 mile range?
