My white '93-C was very noisy (wind wise) around the tops of both side windows, and I thought it was normal. Only when it finally rained, and water came screaming in at me did I take it back to the dealer. They were very apologetic, and fixed the problem right away. My neighbor purchased a '94 "M" edition that had the identical thing happen. I brought it up at our Southeast TX chapter of MiataManiacs, and approximately half of those at the meeting had experienced window seal problems shortly after purchase. The dealer repaired all with no question or hassle. This may be one of those things that needs to be installed locally at the dealer during the "make ready" process. Perhaps mine was forgotten because I was standing on the lot when they backed up TIC-TAC off of the truck. I was a wee-bit over anxious, and they may have rushed her through the prep time.
