To which I respond: Well I have to agree that boost is boost, but the temperature of the intake charge is also a factor. The higher the temp the greater the propensity for pinging/detonation. The Bell system raises the temp of the intake charge 10 degrees over ambient, whereas the Downing system raises it 76 degrees over ambient. This would imply that the second is more susceptable (sp?) to the problem. Yes/no/maybe? kevin kevin@kentek.com
