Subject: Help! How do I remove the radio so it can dry out?

Hi. This question concerns SRS, the dread Soggy Radio Syndrome.

Even with the top up and windows barely cracked, my Miata got its little dash
quite wet about three weeks ago. Since then, it's been suffering from SRS -- I
generally can only get the radio and tape to function after running the AC on
high for five to 10 minutes. 

A colleague says I should remove the radio from the console and allow it to dry
out, as the moisture that remains could cause further harm. Any opinions on
this? If I should remove the radio, is it a hard thing to do? Where do I find
the hidden dash screws.

Any advice would be most welcome.
