After 3 years, mine starting doing this. However, it was do to humidity and not direct water contact. You can try to dry it out, but I have a feeling you are about to start suffering from the "Wait 10 Minutes Before It Comes On" syndrome. To remove the radio, first remove the console between the driver and passenger seat. I think there is one screw under the ashtray, two in the arm-rest compartment, and two on the side near the shifter. Then remove screw/s for the center-dash console near the shifter, and then "pull out" the two eye air vents. It has been suggested use string or a wire loop, but I just used a flat head screwdriver, and popped them out. There is a screw at an angle where each vent was. Then just take the screws out for the radio and disconnect the connectors from the rear of the radio. Be careful not to scratch the LCD screen (I did). Good Luck, I hope all you need it to dry yours out, but I just bought a replacement from someone on this mailing list and installed it. No problems since then. Calvin Harrison '91 Silver Bullet
