From: kokko@esca.com (Kurt Kokko) Subject: Time to think about getting "low" Date: Fri, 7 Oct 1994 12:25:58 -0400
I am looking for information from the net on lowering my 94. Basic Parameters - I will be keeping it on stock '94 alloy's, with 185/60's for right now. Possible upgrade to 205/50/15 in the far (1-2 year) future. (after I borrow some and try them for ride with the new suspension) Topics of interest include: * Basic methods of, and reactions to, lowering the car. -Is there one way, or multiple options? (short springs vs. modified spring platform locations?) -Limitations? (i.e. one inch doesn't affect geometry, 1.5 does) * Vendor Options -Any comments/experiences/detailed install stories would be appreciated * Install specifics - Tools, methods, gotcha's (which spring compresser works best, etc..) * Fallout from changeover - All the other suspensions stuff that really should be changed when you do the springs... E-mail, or post to list if this hasn't been hashed over a million times already. Thanks, Kurt Kokko kokko@esca.com Black '94
