SUBJECT: plugs/plug wires/timing
My Miata is over 30,000 miles now and I have recently done the
30,000 maintenance but have not yet changed plugs or plug wires.
I am looking for some recommendations on plugs and wires.  MCA
seems to swear by Splitfire plugs but a lot of people on this
list seem to use NKG's.  Which are better and why?  What about wires?
  Also, when I took my car to the dealer I had them set the
timing at 14 degrees.  I did not have any problems with 87 octane
fuel and I will continue to use that.  Maybe it's my imagination,
but I did feel a very slight increase in power too.
