Note: I first went to Pep Boys WITHOUT a Mazda filter, and matched the tool up with Purolator filter in stock at the store, one for a Miata. The Purolator filter and the Mazda filter WERE NOT THE SAME SIZE on the end that the tool would fit over. I had to go back with the Mazda filter to get the right tool.
