I don't know where you live in PA, but on Route 6 just west of Wellsboro there
is an "official" measured mile which is pretty good.  There is a special sign
(not a standard milepost) stating "Begin Measured Mile" and another one at
the end.  I assume (bad idea, I know) that PA must have these all around the
state highway system...
