Ok, i know this has been discussed before, but i don't remember actually seeing a _solution_, just references that alleged that there *might be* one... my wife just replaced her driver's side manual window regulator for the 3rd time. the symptom is that it jams and the window won't go up or down. the service dept didn't charge her because there's a service bulletin out on it, but my theory is that the bulletin says something like "we know all 457,642 manual window regulators are defective, but we never thought of trying to make one without the design flaw, so just replace any broken ones with another broken one." for the record, the one for her passenger door (rarely used) is fine, and both of the ones in my '90 have never given me any trouble. does anyone know: a) what goes wrong b) if there's a simple home solution when it jams c) is there a way to prevent this from happening in the first place? thanks in advance. cheers, -- Ken Buck /| Internet: kbuck@peritus.com \'o.O' ACK!
