As long as we've got the door panels off to fix the window crank cable, does anyone have a template or measurements of what size/shape foam rubber to cut to go around the speaker so the plastic doesn't buzz when the stereo is loud and the bass is thumping? That buzz is so annoying that I've given up playing some of my favorite tapes in Wendy. PR Motorsports in Hayward will be installing power mirrors, PIAA fog lights and a track bar for me (as soon as the track bar arrives) and as long as they have the door panels off I thought I might as well provide them some foam to put in. (With what? Glue? Scotch tape?) I bought these goodies with the money I got from selling the '94 polished alloy wheels I won at Gold Rush. Winning bid was $675. On another tack (pun intended), has anyone noticed that their '90 seems to be warm inside all the time? It's nice in the winter but icky in the summer to have warm air gently blowing on you all the time. How do you turn everything OFF so there's no ventilation through the vents? I've tried everything I could think of, including setting the outside/inside air slider in the middle (which meant "off" in my '77 Buick, but not my '90 Mazda!). Normally I don't mind being warm and buzzy, but not while I'm driving in the summer heat trying to enjoy my music! Can anyone help?
