    way the engine runs, I have notices a definate increase in 
    gas mileage.  While using the old GTX 20-50 my mileage was a 
    steady 28-30 mpg.  The last 4 or 5 tankfuls (all "normal" commuting)

I see some fuzzy logic here, if the mileage has improved over the last 
4 or 5 tanks, it does appear to be Castrol Syntec related, unless you 
had to refill the tank 4,5 times in a little over 100 miles,  which makes
it slightly less fuel effiecient than my mom's 78 Fleetwood.
