The troubleshooting steps I found in the table on the G-signal (code 3), were mostly related to the connections to the crank angle sensor. Granted one has to know where he (or she) might find various engine components (very little direction is given as to where the CAS is in fact), but I would expect that most of us have a rudimentary understanding of automotive configurations (and some of you much more). The WSM imho is a very valuable tool for a Miata owner and well worth the price. Tom
