From: Subject: my day at the track Date: Tue, 4 Oct 1994 10:30:23 -0400
hello folks, yesterday i attended a Marque Day session at nearby Summit Pt. Raceway. the Marque Day is a school-type session that car clubs are invited to attend. it's a nice way to get 20 or so members together and have a good time. my observations after completing three 20min hot-sessions: I LOVE IT! - the car is absolutely incredible when you put it on it's edge on a road course. i was doing things with the car that i would have never dreamed of - i had that much confidence in the car (even more confidence than i had in myself, but hopefully that will improve). the car is a very well balanced machine. the only problem i had was with those darn OEM Bridgestone tires. (obviously) they just aren't worthy of a track. at least they were predictable. the only things i plan on changing before the next session will be tires and a more aggressive alignment - other than that the car was PERFECT :) what a day!
