Subject: Battery, Shocks and Struts

My '91 red baby is now four years old and I've heard it may be time to
replace the battery, shocks and struts.

Has anyone out there done this for the age and mileage (50K) and if so,
did you use the same shocks and struts?  Are adjustable shocks better?
