Doug Hagerman said that his Miata had a wiring mistake...his cigarette 
lighter had a green glow around it when he opened the door...That's the 
mistake...it's supposed to be the IGNITION that lights up...Not the 
cigarette lighter.  Man is your wiring screwed up.  My '91 ignition 
flashes red when I open the door and makes locating the key hole very 
easy.  This was an original equipment package B option.
