A few remarks about Steve's report re. Al Staats' car: 

1. the Miata was a 91 A package, heavily modified to look B package;

2. the mileage on the car is 55,000; shocks which are Tokico HP's have
43,000 miles on them;

3. The Borla on the Miata is a 2.5" diameter prototype (pre-production)
model;

4. 0-60MPH observed but not precisely measured is shade under 6 seconds.
 
5. MSD is both a knock sensor and timing retard; timing set at 11.5 degrees;

6. Installation time for Stage 1 is approx. 3 hrs for our experienced
mechanic; Stage 2 is 4.5 with secondary fuel pump and intercooler.

Note to Steve: hope your girl friend is enjoying her new fur coat!
