NADA lists the hardtop as only worth $900 or so on a 93 and then depreciating
about $100 a year afterwards (don't quote these numbers I don't have NADA
with me right now).  But the moral of the story is, if heaven forbid, you
must sell you hard-top equipped Miata, you may be better off marketing the
hard-top to net folks than your neighborhood dealer.

Willing to much less than retail for a hardtop (but its only November !)

BTW - does anyone know if older hardtops fit on the '94 ?
BTW2- only a Red hardtop would be appropriate !
