Interim Results from Front Plate Law Compilation: Please send me (jtomlin@helix.nih.gov) a message if you know whether front plates are required for any of the "Still Uncertain" states. We need to hear from you Westerners, especially. Thanks. Still Uncertain: TX, OK, KS, NE, ND, SD, WY, MT, MO, AK, AR, SC, IO, HI, NV, UT, WV, VT, DE, LA, KY, CO, ID So far: No Front Plate Required (Let's hear it for these states/territories): IN, AZ, NM, MI, NC, PA, FL, AL, GA, TN, MS, Quebec Front Plate Is Required (grumble grumble): MD, DC, VA, OR, CA, CT, OH, NJ, NY, NH, WA, WI, ME, RI, IL, MN, Ontario Law is Complex (When displaying only rear plate, make sure you have a lawyer in the passenger seat (or possibly better, chained to the rear bumper)): MA
