I asked for several drain plug washers and the counter guy (the manager, and a great person) gave me these copper-colored smallish looking washers. I said, Craig, that doesn't look right! He rechecked the numbers, and got the proper aluminum-colored, larger ones (for a '90). I didn't ask how he made the error. I don't know if there has been a change, but at any rate, it's a good thing to be alert for. You can get away with reusing the washers, if they go in flush. The risk is either the get too flattened, over time or more likely, cock and bend, leaving a leak path. I thought my Miata had a mortal wound the first time that happened to me! Bill Allen
