The fall issue has an article on autoramps for low cars such as the miata.
Apparently there's a prototype that's not yet available.  I guess they want
to see public reaction thru the magazine.

My ramps did not fit due to clearance as well.  I could have done the wood
block trick but decided on ordering the Rhinoramps that are advertised in
the back of car&driver.  They work fine.  they don't go up as high as my
original ramps (only about 7") but it's enough to get under the car and 
change the oil/filter.  Just in case you were desperate, I though I'd pass
that along since the editors of miata-mag don't seem to be aware of them.  
Are they on the net?  or are they net-challenged? :)

wanna buy some regular steel ramps? how about $12?
