I'm going to be installing an Alpine changer (probably the 5960, with
shuttle link (4701?) and 1203 CD controller) soon. A local dealer still
had the shuttle link in stock for $50 (so I can avoid the FM modulation).
Anyone know of a good mail order source for Alpine? The local dealers
want way too much. So far, I have only one quote, from a N.Y. dealer ($329),
which seems pretty good, but I was hoping for something closer to Calif.

P.S. I'll also be adding the ClearWater amp. This creates no installation
considerations because I'll have the shuttlelink set up I hope.
I was planning on placing it in the space behind the spare tire somehow.
