I had the SF-325 tires on my Miata from December 91 to November 93 for a total of 41,700 miles (including daily driving through two Wisconsin winters, lots of rain, and several dozen autocrosses, and several 30 minute at-speed sessions on road tracks (Road America, etc)). After putting slightly better Yokohamas on the car I realize that I was probably driving at 8/10 of the SF-325 during regular "sport" use, but probably only 6.5/10 of the car's ability. On the Yokos that moved up to about 8/10 for both. Since my wreck I don't know if I'll use the same type of Yokos again (U+4). My new rims have SF-325 tires on them and I look forward to having these for another 40,000 miles! The good news is that I have most of a spare set of rims and have a source for good used racing tires for next year's autocrosses! -alex-
