seems like 90% is a little high.  don't know the ratio of
automatics to standards that are _sold_, but i don't think
it's quite that drastic.  as for "smart" criminals, i agree.

on the other hand, let's theorize that you wanted to LEARN
how to drive a standard.  i sure wouldn't try on my OWN car
if i could STEAL someone else's to hone my skills! :-)
maybe they're not so dumb after all!! :-)
