Last night after the final exam for one of my night classes I flipped on the
TV and caught Pam Anderson driving a '92 blue Miata.  The show was about a
private detective and a little bit silly, but ever since I became a Raymond
Chandler fan a couple of years ago I have a soft spot for this kind of
story, so I watched it to the end.  (For some reason I am too embarrased to
admit that I watched something on network TV without some kind of
justification)  Anyway, one of the sponsors (J.C. Penny I believe) ran a
spot that opens with a guy hauling home his Christmas tree in the passenger
seat of a black Miata.  It lasted all of five seconds, but it made me smile.
And yes I do believe he was driving it in the snow... :^)
