Someone wondered aloud yesterday whether the Bridgestone RAZ's have the
dual tread pattern that wears, or is shaved to, a "slick" with grooves.
It is.

The last 1/16" or so of tread would be slick except for 4 longitudinal
grooves in the tire.  I would guess that if you bought the racing shaved
version, this is what you'd get.

The "upper" portion of the tread is the typical RE-71 block pattern.
