In the MCA mag it has been stressed numerous times that the tire inflation is *absolutely* critical. They mentioned that the chronic wheel shimmy is affected by the tire pressure and that the rubber won't "heat up" properly with higher inflation than whatever was recommended (28psi?). I have had Pirelli P500s on my car for about 15K miles. The recommended inflation is 38PSI (which I maintain regularly). They are wearing great, which I did not expect (I expected them to wear faster...softer rubber... that sort of thing) and they continue to hold the curves like a mongoose with a snake. So if "heating up" is an issue, I have not seen it. Additionally, the wheel shimmy, which the original Bridgestones exhibited after a while, is totally absent with the Pirellis. I am curious to hear other responses to this aspect of tires. Ken Stoorza White `90B
