That cop probably let you go because he didn't really pace you and he
was far enough ahead of his qu...goal that he didn't need to write bogus
tickets.  To pace you they have to match speeds with you for a specific
distance.  
 
My V1 has paid for itself-- Thanksgiving day, I-476. I had just gotten on
and was accelerated to my cruising speed of 80MPH, when I got a K-band alert.
I let off the gas, and sure enough, there were about 4 cops pulling people
over on each side of the road.
