I know this stuff is bad news, but this sounds terrible. Doesn't the side of the bottle say something about it actually protecting against UV and so on? Anyway, I would never think of having this stuff touch my Miata, but I will admit to having put it on the sidewalls of my tires. Of course, tires are replaceable and only last a few years (or less) anyway, but I wonder if there is something else that folks use. I haven't used NoTouch since the Miata Mag (or someone, memory is fuzzy) decided not to recommend it due to gummy/yucky stuff that formed over time. -Jeff
