Subject: New 1:18 scale Miata models available

Just got a peek at the newest catalog from the Exoticar Model Company and  
they have a neat new set of 1:18 scale Miata models from Kyosho America  
available.

For those of you who don't know, Kyosho is the manufacturer of the  
highly-detailed 1:18 scale Miata models (in red and BRG) sold by _The Sharper  
Image_, PBC and others for prices running from $67-$99.

The new line (available in white, yellow, silver? and blue) are supposedly  
less detailed than the existing models but cost only $29 each! From the  
pictures they appear to have opening hood, doors and trunk lid plus details  
like rear view mirrors and the like. They are also left-hand drive unlike the  
more expensive models which are RHD only. They also don't have the removable  
hardtop.

Exoticar says that these models will be available after the first of the year  
but they will take orders now. There should be plenty in stock after January  
1.

Their phone # is (800) 348-9159. The Miata models are stock # Z 7011A 1992  
where the "Z" is a code that varies by color (Z is "Superman" blue). They  
also have the red and BRG models at a price of $79 each (PBC wants $67.50 for  
these).

BTW: The car is a 1992 model Miata.
