You folks out there who are looking for 1000/2000 grit abrasive sheets (aka
sandpaper) - have you tried your local neighborhood hobby shop?  No, not the
one that sells "craft supplies" of feathers, foam and sequins, but the one
that sells the flying/floating/running and display models of airplanes/
boats/trains/cars.  I haven't checked myself, but I have a feeling you might
find what you're looking for, without getting into a prolonged mail order
wait, or trying to track down some industrial supply house that's only open
while you're at work.  Good luck -
