Subject: Local Chapter Insurance

For all of you local chapter officers out there (or anyone else who would 
like to comment), there have been some recent (limited) discussions 
regarding acquiring insurance for the local chapters to protect officers, 
tour leaders and the like from the potential of personal lawsuits.  The 
fist step is to incorporate, which is generally varying from state to 
state.  The second is to secure insurance for the local chapter.  This 
evening I had a conversation with a member of another nearby club here in 
the DC area and it occurred to him that perhaps the MCA should organize a 
method for local chapters to take advantage of to acquire insurance.

My question to you other chapters out there: What do you guys do about 
chapter insurance?  Do you have it?  Or do you have a lot of faith?
