>I work in Cupertino, but I live in Redwood City.... For those out of towners >this means a VERY FUN commute on I 280 through the rolling hills and past >the, wowa... COWS???? > >Joe > >p.s. *AND* the traffic is always going the opposite way.... Hey Joe, you're right, but I know a funner commute for you if you have a few extra minutes. Try taking 84 west to 35, 35 south to 9, 9 east to Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road and then north to Cupertino. Preferably on a nice summer morning, top down, outside temp about 60 at 7:00 am, average speed 35 mph on 84, 60-80 mph on 35, and 50 mph on 9. Then (if you look fast) you can see deer, horses, squirrels, hawks, and maybe a bobcat or fox as well as your cows! Jeannie Commuting from Boulder Creek (look it up!) to Santa Clara P.S. Are you a member of BAMA yet? Next meeting is Jan. 24, 6:30 pm, Harry's Hofbrau in Mountain View.
