Subject: HAPPY NEW YEAR

I started the New Year off the right way: played tennis for two hours in the
middle fo the day and drove hom with the top down. This was not, I hasten to
add, a testament to my hardiness; it was rather a statement that the day was
lovely and not at all unpleasant. Somehow, I doubt that the rest of the year
will be as accomodating.
  
The location of all this open-air activity was Washington, DC, the place where
Musical Chairs is becoming a National Pastime.
