I have had my '94 white "R" package for 6 months now and I would like to
offer some thoughts on the package.  The ride is stiff, always stiff.  I have
always been willing to trade ride quality for handling, so I don't mind.  But
everyone who gets in my car complains that it "rides kinda rough" or
something like that.  That get's a little tiresome.  I do like the spoilers
and manual steering and it does handles beautifully.

One time when I brought to the dealer for service, they asked why I put those
stiff Bilsteins on a new car.  I still don't think they believe me.  If you
think you don't want this, consider buying an "A" package and adding the
spoiler and air dams later.  You'll probably have enough money left over for
a nice set of tires and wheels too.


I have installed a Sony CDX-6260 in-dash CD player, a/d/s 325is speakers in
the door with tweeters mounted low on the dash (one next to hood release),
Clearwater headrest speaker and a 200 watt JBL power amp in the well in the
trunk.  I also recently installed the PIAA 1000 driving lights (from
Brainstorm).  I wonder what will happen if have the stereo loud, the PIAAs
and headlights on then turn on the wipers while the heater's blowing...
