Wasn't there a recall notice or service bulletin out a year or two ago
about the reverse lights?  I think it mentioned that the light switch
(on the top of the transmission) could be loose or defective.  I also
think that it was primarily directed to 90 through 92s.  In any event,
my backup lights sometimes don't come on immediately when I 
shift into R also -- but if I "jiggle the shifter" it works.  (I guess I
haven't
gotten around to fixing it, 'cause it works _most_ of the time, at
least ).
