Can anyone here provide some reassuring words of > wisdom that will help me trust these people with my car? I just registered my manual equipped Miata in WA state and "drove" during the dyno testing. As a favor to working friends, I took their Toyota to have it tested and the same tester asked me to step out so she could "drive" during the test. I asked why and the answer was that the Toyota was a front wheel drive and if the steering wheel was turned too much, would jump the rollers. For WA, it's a liability issue. Maybe in your state too. Visiting my friends was very sad, in a way...he'd JUST bought a Honda del Sol. To his credit, from my enthusiasm about the Miata, he did test drive and seriously consider one, but the price difference and more, uh, utilitarian nature of the Honda sold him. If I'd just gotten there one week earlier!!!! Aloha, Stu Akerman
