Herb has re-posted an article regarding body stiffness and means of improving such. I had an interesting experience over the holidays that is worth noting. My dad and I were out looking for railroad stations in southern PA between Xmas and New Year's, and as we were pulling into a parking lot in Gettysburg, I turned the car sharply onto a fairly steep (and short) ramp to the parking lot. Halfway through the turn, a buzzer came on. My dad is in the habit of jumping out of the car before I get stopped (he uses this method of getting me to stop when he wants to), so I thought that he had opened the door. I looked over at him and he was sitting still and I asked if he had opened the door. [The buzzer had stopped once we got into the lot.] He said that he hadn't. I have to assume at this point that the body had flexed enough to cause the door to move relative tothe body and release the door switch. I am still perplexed and a little concerned by this, and am even more interested in stiffening the body now. Has this ever happened to anyone here on the List before? Tom
