Well, after 4 yrs and 1 month, my OEM battery finally decided to
go. It's been real sluggish lately, and yesterday decided no more. I I
was able to jump it to get home but I think it's had it. Anyhow, I was
about to call Al at PBC to get his battery for $98 + $9 shipping but
decided to call the local dealer first. As expected, they quoted me
$130. I told them nicely that I could get it for $98 and was just
calling them first to see if they would lower the price. After a
minute delay (I suppose someone checking with their superior) they
said no problem, come get it anytime today. Even with tax its cheaper
from the dealer plus I get it today. Moral of the story, just call
your local dealer first. You never know!
