Over all, the're both great sports cars, but the Miata is one click
better than the MR2 in handling, predictability, and fun. The MR2 has
a better engine, and more trunk space!

Oh... the Corrado...thats another story entirely :)

I autoxed an 89 sc Mr2 once last season. It was very different to the
Miata, presumably because of the weight distributioN:

 Firstly, you cannot brake and turn, if you do the front wheels lock
and you plough forwards.

  Second, the MR2 is awesome through slaloms, as long as you leave
that brake pedal alone. 

  The last memory I have is of slower but better weighted non power
steering. Made we want to run
