As I understand today's terminology, what distinguishes a gymkhana from an
autocross is that part of the course may be in reverse.  The last gymkhana I
participated in was 1962 in a West Texas Sports Car Club sponsored event.  At
that time, all such events were called gymkhanas, in that part of the country.
My questions:
- has anyone else participated in or put on a gymkhana?
- do you have any sample layouts or descriptions of elements of the event?
Alan Dahl and I are going to develop one for the Puget Sound Chapter for July,
and I would like for it to be a good example of how much fun they can be.
