I occasionally experience what sounds like the same problem with low frequencies, and only on the passenger side door. I have an aftermarket stereo and a good external amplifier, so I know the signal is definitely not being distorted. I currently still have the stock speakers, so I just wrote it off as "lousy speakers, it'll disappear when I put new ones in". If you experience the same with aftermarket speakers though, sounds like it could be a resonance problem in the door trim itself. Now, why *only* on the passenger side door?! Don't know. -- Jyri J.
