Jack: Did you actually drive the car? I'm 6'2", and I thought I could never own a Miata with the hardtop - when I sat in one on the dealer's lot, I "tested" the headroom, and my head rubbed far too much. I figured I'd have brain damage from the first pothole I'd hit. Same experience when I whent to check out the car I now own. When I sat in it, it was tight on the ol' noggin. When I took it for a drive, however, I settled into the seat and had plenty (well, enought) headroom. Every now and then I bump my head, but it's not bad. Like most tall people, I'm taller in the morning, so I watch it on the way to work. I have more problems with vision - the windshield header is just a tad over eye level. Tough when you're the first in line at a traffic light. I've learned to compensate, tho. Douglas Dinsmoor Red '90 Pkg. A PS - I find there's more headroom with the soft top than the hard.
