I hope that rude awakening included a warrant for his arrest on charges of attempted homicide/assault with a deadly weapon. I "Saved American jobs" starting in 1985 when I bought a Mazda 626 in protest over the declining quality of American Iron (and, since Dodge was a *religion* in my family, beleive me, I heard about it!) Tough love - Detroit *had* to hear! When I bought the Miata, it was on faith that the quality would be comparable to my 626, and on fact that there was nothing else comparable that I could afford. Now that the quality message has been heard, and is being internalized, I returned to the fold, with a '94 Intrepid. Sometimes it takes courage to send a hard message.
