It has to be a little of both. I don't consider myself particularly 
attractive--I'm slender and blond, but that's about all I have going 
for me. I've never been honked at by a total stranger when driving a 
hardtop/top up on a convertible, but I've been saluted numerous times 
with the top down. In the Miata I became used to it, but in lesser 
convertibles it happened rarely enough that it startled me.
So... I'm planning a cross country trip, much of which will probably be 
with the top down, and also with a fairly attractive female friend 
riding along. What should we do to avoid horny-er, I mean 
LONELY-truckers?? Aside from keeping a full tank of gas to be able to 
outdistance them...
