For what its worth, someone on here said that nitrogen was more stable than
air (oxygen/nitrogen mix) and that the molecules vibrate less so that you get
less noise at higher speeds... This was a complain someone had about a
"ringing" sound in their tires....

Don't know if it has any basis in fact though...
