--I have Liquid Glass to use as a wax. Does anyone else have experience with this? It was highly recommended by a freind who uses it on her '93 626. What other products are recommended? --I am considering purchase of a rear window pocket I have seen advertised through a company in NC. Does anyone else have experience with this? To me it appears to be a good investment. --I am also considering purchase of a trunk shield. Is this a good investment based on others experience? --What do people use for cleaning the rear window, both in and out? The same company advertises a product called "Mirror Glaze". This comes as both a cleaner and a polisher. Thoughts? Dewaine, Not familiar with Liquid Glass but it sounds a bit like one of those products that you apply "once a year"? If so, then I don't recommend it. I've tried LOTS of different waxes/polishes over the years (38 years old and 13 new cars in that time frame) and I'm convinced that MEGUIAR'S products are the way to go for all your car care needs. If you hate to wax your car and put it off as long as possible then you will want to use Meguiar's MEDALLION, an easy one-step polish/wax. If, like me, you actually ENJOY waxing the car, they you might want to try Meguiar's #7 SHOW CAR GLAZE followed by Meguiar's #26 YELLOW WAX. I also occasionally use Meguiar's #9 SWIRL REMOVER before applying the #7 and the #26. (Swirl Remover is a non-abrasive polish that helps to eliminate the bothersome swirl marks you will eventually find in ANY dark finish after repeated washes/waxes, etc.) Meguiar's is the maker of the "Mirror Glaze" plastic window products you mention. They have a #17 Plastic Cleaner for heavily scratched and/or damaged windows. For newer windows, you can probably get by with just the #10 Plastic Polish for a while. I don't know if the trunk shield is really necessary on the '94 and '95 models. The newer models have some "carpeting" (whatever that felt-like material in the trunk is called) over spot the shield would normally go. How much protection this "carpeting" offers is unknown by this author. I >highly< recommend the use of a window protector. They are a bit of a pain to use (vs. no window protector at all) but they do and incredible job of keep your window clean and scratch free. At the very least, use a soft towel between the windown and the lowered top. The top has a tendency to rub fine scratches into the window. Further, I recommend a window protector with SNAPS that attach it along the front of the package shelf. Hope this helps! Mark '92 B Classic Red Member of: MCA SOCALM TEAM VOODOO
