I had the Clearwater speakers and amp, but the range of sound wasn't what I was looking for. Also, my CD changer was going throught the FM, which was also lacking. So I got a Kenwood radio, a Pretige 4x100 amp to control the door speakers, and eventually a sub-woofer, used the 2x40 Clearwater (Alphasonic) amp to drive the headrest speakers. Plus I added a couple of Polk tweeters in the doors (driven off the Pretige amp). Sound is now much better than it was before. Unfortunately my CD changer is in the shop for repairs. Still under warranty though :-) Robert ---------------------- Robert Holland (JTBob) Southwest Fisheries Science Center Internet: robert@caliban.ucsd.edu Team Voodoo Red '92A ("N2 TULL") SoCalM "But remember your way in is also my way out, and love's four-letter word is no compensation." : Jethro Tull
