Subject: NHRA Slick-50 Super Nationals

     Its late winter once again, and the Slick-50 super nationals are once
     again here at Houston Raceway Park.

     Aerospace engineers and part time jobs go together here like biscuits
     and gravy.  I moonlight for a local catering company who has the
     contract for concessions at the racetrack.  So, I will be there once
     again this year cooking, cleaning, beer-schlepping, and sneaking out
     to see the cars.

     I know there's not a 5,000hp Miata on the lot, but there are usually a
     few of the more custom jobs around since most of the major dealerships
     are on hand showing their wares.  I can be on the look out for parts,
     pieces, or specialty items if anyone is looking for anything in
     particular (I'm sure MOMO, PIAA, and other high performance parts
     dealers will be there also).

     If any of you local Houston people is going, let me know.  I can get
     you free food :-}
